Polygard® MTX 5020 | 5mm thick heavy duty epoxy mortar floor system with smooth finish.
The concrete has to be degreased to remove all pollutants as part of the floor preparations. Corrective work on the drain
detailing is committed through saw-cutting at the edges. The concrete floor is then shot blasted for it to receive the epoxy
mortar topping. Potholes or weakened concrete were removed and filled with a tack coat and mortar base prior to applying the
grout coat. Two coats of epoxy finishing were then applied. The Polygard® MTX 5020 system functions exceptionally well in areas
with high vehicle traffic, with excellent impact resistance while retaining on a high gloss hygienic finish.
