APPLICATION

DESCRIPTION

2mm thick, medium duty, smooth, water-borne self-leveling topped with water-borne epoxy coating.

USES

Suitable for applying over green concrete and on concrete floor affected by rising dampness. Typical installation includes light and clean manufacturing in all industries and car parks.

APPLICATION

SUBSTRATE REQUIREMENTS / PREPARATION

  • Concrete floor must be waterproofed and graded to specified levels and falls.
    NOTE: However, system has the ability to resist rising dampness.
  • Chip off all cement droppings and cement overpours.
  • Degrease oil/grease contaminants with industrial degreaser.
  • Degrease oil/grease contaminants with industrial degreaser.
  • Shotblast surfaces to achieve suitable surface profile.
  • Remove dust with industrial vacuum prior to application of coating.

APPLICATION PROCEDURES

  • Apply EP861 as scratch coat. Allow to dry for a minimum of twelve (12) hours.
  • Apply EP863 water-borne self-leveling base, spike rolled to release trapped air.
  • Apply two (2) coats EP827 water-borne epoxy finish coat allowing six (6) hours drying time in between
    coats.
  • Allow twenty-four (24) hours drying time before opening to light foot traffic and seven (7) days for chemical service conditions.

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

Products contain epoxy resin and amines. Do not take internally. May irritate eyes and skin. Protective clothing and gloves are recommended to prevent sensitization to these materials. In case of eye contact, flush with soap and clean water and seek medical attention.
