APPLICATION

DESCRIPTION

A 3-coat water-borne polyamide cured epoxy floor coating system.

USES

Suitable for light duty applications in all industries as a general purpose coating system and for refinishing existing
Polygard Epoxy Floor Systems.

APPLICATION

SUBSTRATE REQUIREMENTS / PREPARATION

  • Concrete floor must be waterproofed and graded to specified levels and falls.
  • Chip off all cement droppings and cement overpours.
  • Degrease oil/grease contaminated surfaces with industrial degreaser.
  • Roughen surfaces with heavy duty diamond disc floor grinder.
  • Remove dust with industrial vacuum cleaner.

APPLICATION PROCEDURES

  • Apply EP827 diluted up to 40% with clear water. Allow to dry for a minimum of eight (8) hours.
  • Apply EP827 as intermediate coat and allow to dry for minimum eight (8) hours.
  • Apply EP827 as finishing coat.
  • Allow twenty-four (24) hours drying time before opening to light foot traffic and seven (7) days for chemical service conditions.

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

Products contain epoxy resin and amines. Do not take internally. May irritate eyes and skin. Protective clothing and gloves are recommended to prevent sensitization to these materials. In case of eye contact, flush with soap and clean water and seek medical attention.

POLYGARD® WEC6150 Floor System should be applied by specialist applicators.
